Taxi!!!


Marahil ang ilan sa atin ay naka experince nang sumakay ng taxi.. At hindi madali ang pag para sa kanila.



Q: Naranasan mo na bang pumara ng taxi... na matapos kang hintuan at malaman ang iyong destinasyon ay bigla ka na lang tatanggihan?


A: ako rin! (I'll use PNoy's line)



Naalala ko tuloy ang taxi experience ko sa Cebu, doon... hindi lalagpas ng limang minuto masasakay ka na ng taxi... kahit saan pa ang destinasyon mo go lang... Wala halos tanggi.

Pero sa Manila, sobra, pag ma-trapik ang pupuntahan mo, sa malamang wala kang makuhang taxi... Malamang ma miss mo ang flight mo kung papunta ka ng airport, o kaya ay mahuli sa meeting mo.
Kung nagkataon na may pumayag man... Kontrata ito... Sa malamang hindi na mag metro.
Maraming pagkakataon nang nangyari ang ganito sa akin...
At eto lang ang masasabi ko...

Hindi ko maintindihan pero bakit ang karamihan ay abusado?
Pareparehas naman tayung pilipino na napapagod para mabuhay...

As far as I know it is public service, so i guess dapat walang maarteng driver... :b
Nagbabayad naman ng tama ang mga parokyano nyong pasahero.

Pero nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng Taxi Driver na matiwasay na naghatid sakin sa aking paroroonan (esp. sa Pasig)
Nagpapasalamat rin ako sa lahat ng mabubuting driver na walang alintana sa trapik...
Sana dumami pa ang katulad nyo...

Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Visited Puerto Prinsesa last Aug14-16 due to official business plus side trips...

LAST WEEK on PAOLOTTE's LIFE

MONDAY - FRIDAY

I was on 2-10 duty last week and feeling ko nawala ako sa sirkulasyon ng buhay...

Gising ng 10am uuwi ng 10pm matutulog aroung 12am

But look at the brighter side... I was able to:

cook lunch and watch tv bago pumasok sa office

+

watch movie bago matulog.

=

not bad for a bonding momments for us.

SATURDAY

I had to work on weekend, pero nag aya akong manood ng movie. 

I asked jep to pick me up at LKG kasi umuulan at wala akong payong. :(

Hektuali.. tatawid na sana ako at magpapaulan nang biglang may isang bus na mabilis ang takbo at natalsikan ako ng tubig!

'Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ang daming bad na driver ng bus, na tipong alam nmn nilang may tao sa gilid ng daan e cge pa rin sila sa mabilis na pagpapatakbo. good thing indi maitim ang tubig na tumalsik sakin... hay...'

So instead na tumawid ay sumilong na lang ako sa may LKG at nag intay sa aking sundo.

We decide to watch INCEPTION sa Glorietta.

Before watching we decided to eat first... so... lakad dito... lakad doon... hmmm.. san ba kami kakain? we only have an hour before the movie starts.

Burger King? - ayaw ni jep ng Burger

Kenny's? - ang daming tao nag haba ng pila

Shakeys? - ang daming waiting

isip... isip... isip...

Sa Wendys! para malapit na sa movie house... lakad ulit...

Anu pa nga bang o-orderin namin? Syempre yung favorite namin... 'Big Classic Single' syempre biggies!!!

I said to my self: diet for the fast 3 days kaya susulitin ko ito... wahahah.. ^_^

(ayaw daw ng burger.. pero burger pa rin!)

The movie ended at around 10, and it was still raining so we decided to take a cab.

Ang haba ng pila! pero since umuulan.. cge pila na lang kami...

10mins - 20 mins ang lumipas.

Kwentuhan habang pila hanggang sa tumila-tila na rin ang ulan...

ang haba pa rin ng pila... :(

Ako: tara... bus na lang tayo.

Jep: Cge.

(wehehe.. nagpatila lang kami ng ulan sa pila)

Konting lakad lang.. nakasakay din agad kami ng bus. :)

SUNDAY

Excited ako kasi i-meet ko si sikoletlover later after office.

I asked her to stay overnight with us, before she and basuraman go on a trip the following day. :)

Dadi Jep, waited for an hour for me... kasi umuulan na naman at wala ulit akong payong! (di na ako natuto). Hindi na nya ako masusundo this time.. kasi nasa Glorietta na siya.

We wanted to wait for sikoletlover before we have dinner but our stomach don't want to.

Finally naka-pag shakeys na kami this time! and ... It is my cheat day again :)

Sikoletlover texted and she's still in Bulacan kasi malakas ang ulan...

Me and Jep... lakad dito lakad doon...

Window shopping ulit. :)

Finally sikoletlover arrives and there we are at MRT Ayala Station, waiting for our friend, kulang na lang placard.. :) award!

We're happy sikoletlover enjoyed the food.
We ordered Lechon Macau for her and we decided to have buchi+prawn duplings+shark's fin.

on my fourth entry I will share with you the places that we visited so far...

Baguio 2 years ago.

The summer capital of the Philippines, we went here around December 2008.

First time kong ma experience mag boating sa Burnham Park.

Second time na namin together dito, the first was during our College days.

Last year (2009)

My housemate invite us to join their company outing... so there we go.

I super enjoy the meal here...

Ilocos, Norte

a very meaningful travel for both of us. :) 

we visited the kapurpurawan white rock formation,

the bagui wind mill, burgos lighthouse and so many stop over to take pictures of the beautiful stretch of Luzon

Heading back to Manila we had a stop over at Vigan and have dinner at Cafe Leona, buy some souvenir and roam around...

That same year we also visited Bohol.

We love Chocolate Hills

Bohol has a lot to offer, not like other tourist destination in the Philippines.

It has the beach, the nature and the adventure.

Loboc River, Bohol Bee Farm, Chocolate Hills, Butterfly Sanctuary, Old Churches, Hinagdanan Cave, Panglao Island, Balicasag Island, Virgin Island to name a few.

There is a lot of things to do, that our 3D2N stay is not enough. We will definitely be back here for sure!

This year...

Boracay

In celebration of our 10th anniversary we go to bora, we just enjoy the beach and it's kinda 'bitin'. 

Hopefully makabalik kami dito wth friends so we can enjoy different water sports/adventure together.

To grow and experience new things.
Experience new things and share them with others.
Sharing them with others makes memories.

Ako? as far I as I remember na experience kong gumimik nung nag ta-trabaho na ako...

Wish ko lang sana hindi masayang yung pinag hihirapan ng magulang nila kaka-paaral sa kanila.

I think students should be more appreciative sa sacrifices ng mga magulang nila.
